  • HISTORICAL SUMMARY

The pit monster is a breed of  21st century , developed from the  crossing  between dogs of "monstrous" appearance, related or not to the  pit bull ,  american bully , and, indirectly, dogs  molossers  like the  American Bulldog and the Old English Bulldog . The social motivation for its development was greatly influenced by the movement  bully  american.

Its origin is obscure mainly due to the divergence of nomenclatures and concepts of the races that make up its genetic base. Its initial genetic base was basically composed of  lineages  of heavy dogs that are currently part of at least three other distinct breeds, such as the Camelot and McKenna strains that are currently part of the breed  American Working Red  ( prey dogs ); the Chevy and Elli's strains that are now part of the breed  Working Pit Bulldog  ; and the Razor Edge bloodline, which is part of the  American Bully ; all combined with pit bulls and dogs without  Genealogy  known but with initial registration. The result was robust, heavy dogs with broad chests, heavy skulls and strong bones.

The pit monster is related to  american bully , especially the XL pattern and the extinct extreme pattern, so it is also known as extreme.

Country of origin:  The PIT MONSTER nomenclature was created in Brazil, but most bloodlines are of American origin.

BEHAVIOR AND TEMPERAMENT:  confident, courageous and alert, he is very friendly and loving.
